Riding Club Teams

For a small club, we can always turn out a team!.  We encourage anyone in the club who wishes to be part of a team to join.  It doesn't matter as to what stage you are at with your riding, we have a brilliant  network of team members who are encouraging, helpful, generous and very supportive alongside our fabulous team trainer Sue Edwards.

Dressage

We have loved getting involved with Team Dressage competitions,  having some great success at all levels competing against other BRC Area 12 teams.  We even managed qualification to Hartpury SWWRC Championships in 2018, 2019, 2022 and individual qualifications to the BRC National Championships in Lincolnshire in 2019 and team qualification to the National Championships in 2021.

Eventing

We've had a great time with the eventing - both horse trials and arena based with team entries at 70cm, 80cm, 90cm and 1m

These events have been very well supported by other club members coming along to cheer the team on.  A brilliant atmosphere, some great riding by our members - now all donning their KRC club matching kit which looks fabulous. We have had some very good results both individually and as teams with the most recent qualifications in 2021 and attendance at the riding Club National Eventing Championships at Swalcliffe Park, Oxfordshire.

Show Jumping

Team Show Jumping has also been on the agenda over the last couple of years with teams travelling to Kings Sedgemoor Equestrian Centre where they always run a well organised event.

Formation Riding

New to the club - Having tried at Camp in 2023 courtesy of The All Steps Formation Riding Team instructors, we decided that we could have a go at Formation Riding Competitions.  It’s a great way to enjoy your horse with a group of friends and experience some of the competition environment without it being too stressful. So if you aspire to doing some dressage comps but are a bit unsure,  why not try this first!

Celebrations!

Something we do as a club really really well is celebrate!.  We celebrate whether we WIN, Lose or come somewhere in the middle.  We don't need an excuse to have a tipple and eat cake.................so when all is done, we all get together in the lorry park, chat about our performances good or bad, celebrate the fact we actually all got there and made a contribution and generally have a jolly old time before we load and leave.  Then of course, we all post our photo's on Facebook and re-live the day again!
